Project Summary Video
Here is the video I submitted to the 2015 District 52 Congressional App Challenge describing the project and its inspiration.

After visiting CERN, this summer, I was inspired to program an app about the Standard Model of quantum physics. This app, "Quantum," was published on the Google Play Store at the end of the summer and already has 36,000+ installs. The image on the far left is an add for the app. The image in the middle left shows the app being used on my Android phone. The right middle image shows the initial display screen when the app is opened. The far right image shows the home menu. The images on the bottom show the growing number of installations (36,741 as of 8/7/16) and rating (4.56 as of 8/7/16).

The image on the left is a screenshot of the Quantum app on the Google Play Store. The middle image shows the Standard Model chart. The particles are categorized and when pressed open into a new window. For example, when "BOSONS" is pressed, the window on the right opens. There are 6 different options for every particle: images, about, more info, related, videos, and sources. These buttons can be clicked to reveal that information. The dots in the top right corner of the image open a pull-down menu that allows the user to go back to the Standard Model chart or Home Menu.

These images are screenshot of different particles in the Standard Model and the About, which explains why I wanted to make the app and my plans for improving it. There is a lot of information and research that went into this app and it took over a month to create. I am still working to improve the app, both by improving the UI/GUI and the content. I hope to add information about physics theories, famous physicists, physics history, and major experimentation facilities. I ultimately hope that this app makes the complex field of quantum mechanics more accessible to people of all scientific backgrounds, ranging from curious students to physicists themselves. It is an app "FOR EVERY QUANTUM PHYSICIST."
